Nicky Wilkinson has recently returned from 25 years of living in East Europe and Africa. She has three married children and a grandson, for whom she and her husband were called to return to the UK. She has an interest in memoir-writing and advocacy for Zimbabwe, a beloved but broken nation. She has recently joined ACW and is excited about particpating as Administrator.

Katherine lives in Sheffield and is married to Blessan, from Kerala, India, and they have two children. As well as writing stories that touch on social issues and explore the space where cultures cross, Katherine is an English and Creative Writing tutor.

Katherine’s debut novel, Lydia’s Song, was published by Instant Apostle (2014). As well as writing her second novel, she is also an emerging screenwriter, short story writer and ghostwriter.

Rosemary Johnson has had many short stories published online and in print, in The Copperfield Review, Fiction on the Web, Scribble, Circa, Radgepacket, Mslexia, CafeLit and Every Day Fiction (amongst other places). Rosemary has a special interest in historical fiction and has written a novel set during the Cold War. In real life, she is a retired computing lecturer, an Authorised Local Preacher at her church and lives in Essex with her husband and cat. Contact me here

Jane Walters is the author of Too Soon, a mother’s journey through miscarriage (Jane Clamp, SPCK). She has been Creative Writer in Residence on the Sunday Breakfast Show of BBC Radio Norfolk and currently broadcasts God Spots on UCB and is on the Thought of the Day team at Premier Radio. She loves to preach and teach God’s word, especially on themes of restoration. She leads two ACW groups in Norfolk as well as facilitating residential writing retreats further afield. As yet unpublished as a novelist, she is signed to Intersaga Literary Agency as Jane Wyatt Walters.

Her interests include interior design and teaching and performing on piano and woodwind, especially saxophone.

Allison Symes writes flash fiction, short stories and blogs for online community magazine, Chandler’s Ford Today. Her first flash collection, From Light to Dark and Back Again, was published by Chapeltown Books in 2017 and she has also been published online and in print by Bridge House Publishing and Cafelit amongst others. Her CFT posts cover a wide range of issues pertinent to writers such as reviews, discussing how to spot a “real” writing competition, creativity etc. Contact me here

A career in HR and coaching gave Richard his passion for helping people find their talents, hence his enthusiasm for encouraging others on their writing journeys.  Following his own advice, he has recently completed an MA in Creative Writing and learnt much. He has published books in management training and writes creative non-fiction for various magazines including BRF. He and his wife, Eirene, lead Café Writers in Derby and run writing retreats and creative writing courses.  In his spare time, he plays drums, cherishes family time and is acquiring grandchildren at an alarming rate.

Bobbie has written faith memoirs to her name and a novel, ‘Being Lena Levi’, published by Instant Apostle in 2019, shortlisted for the Eyelands Prize.

Bobbie is a speaker, qualified teacher and workshop facilitator. Her Jewish background and years in Israel make Jewish Jesus and Bible stories her pet topics.

Dan is a creator of characters, premises, and worlds, but less so plots, having multitudes of them to his name, but so far no completed works. Amy is the author of several books, including Image of the Invisible (BRF) and the Gladstone Trilogy (Kevin Mayhew).  A performance storyteller and ventriloquist, she also writes scripts and resources for church and school use, is a regular contributor to The Church Times, and works as a commissioning editor for children’s and youth at Kevin Mayhew.
